Welcome to the Chemnitz September of Applied Mathematics (2018)
The Faculty of Mathematics of the TU Chemnitz is proud to host in September 2018 a series of applied mathematics events which have previously been organised by different local groups for decades:
- the Chemnitz Summer School on Applied Analysis, September 20-22,
- the Chemnitz Finite Element Symposium, September 24-26,
- and the Chemnitz Symposium on Inverse Problems, September 27-28.
To facilitate attending multiple events and foster scientific exchange among the traditional participants of each, all three will take place in sequence under the common organisational structure of the Chemnitz September of Applied Mathematics, which we plan to organize in this combined fashion in Chemnitz every two years.
Participants can register and reserve accommodation for any combination of events and are encouraged to stay for the entire nine days.
